“CasinoFortune.com Shares
its Fortune with Tsunami Victims”
The online gambling company CasinoFortune.com
is obviously feeling secure enough in its success to give
away some of its profits. Moved by the tragedy of December’s
Tsunami disaster, it has made a major contribution to the
devastated Sri Lankans, in the form of fishing boats.
CasinoFortune.com, one of the first
gambling companies to operate online casinos, has donated
forty fiberglass fishing boats to Sri Lanka’s fishing fleet, at a cost of $2,525
each. The Sri Lankans lost more than 22,000 boats in the
Tsunami this past December, and officials at CasinoFortune.com
wanted to do what they could to help start rebuilding Sri
Lanka’s devastated fleet.
Government officials and some Sri Lankan fishermen attended
an official ceremony at which the boats were donated. Fishermen
in Kalutara, a small southern coastal town, are to be the
recipients of the boats.
CasinoFortune.com was not the only online gambling company
to become philanthropically involved in the Tsunami disaster;
other companies also made donations.
