Extensive Effects Of World Poker Tour Business Coup Expected To Occur.
In Lanzhou, Gansu Province China this week, China took a major step toward involvement in online poker as it historically recognized the traditional folk game of Traktor Poker, or Tuo La Ji, as an officially recognized Sport. This was done by the China Leisure Sports Administrative Center (CLSAC), which allowed the World Poker Tour (WPT) China National Traktor Poker Tour to crown its first Provincial Champions.
For the tour’s inaugural event, the province’s best players were welcomed to play. The tour is being sanctioned by the CLSAC— which under the China State Sports Administration, is the national Sports Federation governing Leisure Sports. It is also sponsored by WPT Enterprises (WPTE), which is the exclusive marketing partner of the Tour.
The city of Lanzhou is well known for its ancient culture. It is also famous as being a key point on the Silk Road. The tour was filled to capacity with a total of 418 competitors all of whom battled for three days. This was done s as to determine the teams which are going to represent the Gansu Province during the National Tour Grand Final.
Zhu An Men and Chen Haili are the leaders of the winning team. They are both residents of Lanzhou City. The two of them made a score of 5,090 allowing them to win the Gansu Provincial Title in what provide to be an extremely hard fought battle that included seasoned competitors.

During the inaugural Season, 15 Regional Preliminary tournaments are to be held. Hughs believes that the success of the Gansu tournament demonstrates that this new concept will be successful when performed in China. Hughs attended the competition in Lanzhou.
He said that he sees this inaugural event as being a strong sign of the eventual success to be expected of the Tour. Hughs points out that Traktor Poker is backed with a substantial tradition as a popular sport. He believes that it can only be expected to grow and build momentum from this point forward.
