Foremost Scandinavian online gambling site is now Cryptologic's newest customer
Cryptologic, the Toronto - based online gambling software developer, has recently joined forces with a major Scandinavian online poker site. They have signed a three-year deal with Betsafe, which will allow Waterlogic, the subsidiary, to introduce a comprehensive online package of poker playing benefits later this year, to Betsafe players.
Cryptologic’s president and chief executive officer, Louis Rose, says that both the existence of poker licensees, as well as size, matters. He says that because of their five-year focus on international markets, Cryptologic software now is a factor in powering the world's largest network of poker online, excluding United States players. Rose says that their advantage is their size, plus the fact that they always stick strictly to regulations and that this will allow them a safe online home, and those who play online will feel secure, having access to both a profitable as well as a safe home online. The fast-growing player base that Betsafe has established, because of its reputation for being safe, allows for this secure gambling organization to join forces perfectly with Cryptologic in its concentration on developing internationally attractive blue-chip gaming brands.
One of the main factors affecting Betsafe’s decision to join forces with Cryptologic, is that company’s reputation and growing market share within Betsafe’s major European markets.
Betsafe’s CEO, Andre Lavold, has remarked that when his company made the decision to expand their poker room feature, it had already decided to seek a reliable provider of software that also was known for its liquidity, quality, stability, and of course, integrity. Lavold says that Cryptologic has all of this to offer in addition to its suite of exclusive and innovative games that Levold says will create new excitement within Betsafe’s poker rooms as poker players from across Europe and beyond participate in this new offering.
When Betsafe.com joins as a licensee with Cryptologic, it will join a list of licensees that includes Sun Poker.com, Pokerplex.com, Classic Poker.com, William Hill Poker.com, Littlewoods Poker.com, Interpoker.com, UKbetting Poker.co.uk, and a Playboy site that is about to be launched. CryptoLogic employs the strategy of investing in strong partnerships with trusted, brand name licensees so as to toughen its Internet poker leadership. It also, according to a company spokesperson, invests in system scalability and product development.
