Yet another acronym being added to the jargon....

VC Poker, the well known British gambling group, has recently announced its plans to bring yet another addition to the current lexicon of poker tournament acronyms, to take place with the opening of the new competition this November.  The otherwise now accepted acronyms, WSOP, WPT, WCOOP, WSOPE and GUKPT are to be soon included with the new acronym, ECOOP – which stands for the that VOICE Poker sponsors.
At the present time, VC Poker is arranging for the finishing touches for this latest ten event internet poker tournament. The event will take this November and is to last ten days. It is expected that the event will draw the leading players from all parts of the world who will be interested in this inaugural event which is to include a very generous $2.5 million dollar guaranteed prize pool.

There is also to be what can only be considered as a highly exclusive $50,000 MVP Freeroll competition. The winner of this competition will receive the title of 2007 ECOOP Most Valuable Player.

The website’s interactive schedule offers complete information, which is available and which includes dates, times and the qualifying criteria for each event.

The poker games of Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo are to be included as a part of the tournament’s main events, along with variations of No Limit and Limit Texas Hold’em poker. A set prize pool is being offered by each individual event along with an opportunity for those participating to win a unique ECOOP bracelet.

The ECOOP main events are slated to occur on the 30th of November. This will be immediately followed by the $50 000 MVP Freeroll competition.

It is the goal of the VC Poker’s MVP Freeroll competition to reward individual players for their unique skills as well as the effort that they demonstrate along with their determination. Players can watch the MVP Leaderboard during the main event in order to track their performance. All top players will be listed and ranked on the board during the ECOOP showdown. When the ten day tournament is completed, 50 of top ranked players having the highest ranking on the MVP Leaderboard will automatically be given entry into the $50,000 Freeroll competition scheduled. This competition will be held on December 11th.
