The European iGaming Big Event to Take Place Soon in Copenhagen
Time is growing short to book your tickets for the European iGaming conference and exhibit in September, especially for those with heavy schedules. The event runs from September 15th to the 17th, 2009, and will take place in amazing Copenhagen Denmark. The well planned event is to take place at the wonderfully modern and airy congress facility, the Bella Center which is located just south of Copenhagen’s city center. It is very well located being only a 5 minute taxi journey from the airport and just 11 minutes away from the city center using the Bella Center’s own metro station. Playtech is functioning as this year’s lead sponsor and has been getting a great deal of media coverage in recent months due to their latest ventures into 'live' online gambling deals.
There is a formidable list of speakers planned including as many as 80 plus experts involving some of the top CEOs who will be delivering their ideas throughout the event. The list of speakers and CEOs who will be attending the event includes people from all over the world.
Included will also be support associations such as eCOGRA the independent standards authority. In addition there will be in attendance the European Sports Security Association (ESSA) which serves as an early warning system for the industry and is designed to assure that customers a receiving a fair sports betting product. Also the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) will be present. It is their job to promote fair competition among European online gaming operators. Other interests and associations to be included are the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) which is an association of attorneys, gaming executives, and gaming regulators; the Interactive Gaming Council (IGC) which functions as a collective voice for the interactive gaming industry; and the Remote Gambling Association (RGA), an association that represents the worlds major licensed, and stock market-listed remote gambling companies.
From over ten applications that were made to participate in the 2009 LaunchPad event, four companies have been selected. These are the companies that have been chosen and will be given the opportunity to relate to the conference participants why their product in particular should be viewed as being 'the next big thing'. There will be a panel of experts set up to agree or disagree. These are start up companies that are prepared to take on the online gambling world. Only time will be the judge as these new companies take their place in this very competitive arena while the consumer is given the opportunity to test their worth. This then may be expected to be a particularly comprehensive event offering something to everyone, everyone that is who desires to see their company advance in the business of online gambling.
