New study results indicate that as many as 3 million online Internet gamblers are gambling during company time

BetRescue, the online odds comparison site has made known the outcome of a survey indicating that a noteworthy number of British gamblers use their place of work to play at online casinos.

While they are in their place of work, office workers in Britain wager over GBP 2 billion annually gambling online from their place of work, the study shows. According to the survey finding, close to three million adults admit to having used their computer at work to gamble online on a weekly basis.

On a per capita basis players admit to spending on average GBP 23 on each site on lottery sites, casino betting, football, horses, poker and other gaming sites. During the year a total of GBP 1200 is wagered by the average player who plays online at work.

The survey also reports that less than one fourth of the money that is bet is won back.
