The Replacement To Johan Berg Has Been Revealed

It has already been two full months since Johan Berg, who has been called the "boss of Boss" Media, made known that he was resigning and took the entire Swedish online gambling industry by surprise. He announced his pending resignation after being the hot seat of this Swedish turnkey operation for over two years. Markus Holm, who is Boss Media’s head of business development, then took over his duties on a temporary basis.
When Boss Media’s Board Chairman Meg Tiveus announced that Boss Media’s Board of Directors had appointed a new head in the form of Michael Hallén (43) as its CEO and president, a new chapter had been opened in this Swedish saga.  Before coming to Boss Media, Hallen served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems). He has a great deal of experience in the area of online gaming software applications and in the area of international operations.
while serving as the President of IFS up until 2006, Hallen was successful in his efforts to reverse what had formally been a negative trend and in bring profitability to his company. Before this Hallen had worked in a number of different executive positions at IFS, some of which involved being responsible for product development as well as for global marketing. In recent years, Hallén has been on the Board of several speedily expanding software and service companies.

Boss Media’s Board Chairman Meg Tiveus  is reported as saying that her company’s board of directors is really happy to have recruited Hallen, and she points to his experience in both software development and international operations as a basis for the further expansion Boss Media's strategic focus on evolving into a overall supplier of digital platforms for Internet distributed game-based entertainment directed toward satisfaction of the needs of their international customers in the gaming industry.

Hallén will assume his new position on July 1.
