Mobile Developer Gains Quick Cash

Million-2-1 the UK mobile games developer based in Manchester, took to the private equity circuit this week, by raising GBP 3 million for funding their further expansion plans.

The company develops auctions, lotteries, and games of skill which can be played on TV sets, mobile phones, or on the Internet, and has agreements in place in the Netherlands, China, Australia, and Ireland. They will be launching in South Africa, the USA, and Spain later this year.

CEO Chris Sheffield is reported as saying that the company has ambitious expansion plans designed to capitalize on the anticipated growth in internet-based and televised gambling and on through their increasing number of international partnership deals.
