Boss Media Heads Toward Busy Times
It looks like the turnkey provider from Sweden known as Boss Media is having yet another busy time of it. The company just recently completed an IVT (interactive video terminal) deal with the Italian manufacturing firm that also handles terminals for gaming, Zest Gaming, while also completing another two contracts with a couple of Cyprus located online gambling firms The BetArena and Bashedger. The Cyprus firms are planning to operate live and in real time using Boss media’s poker software along with the company’s network, all starting in August of 2006.
The company will be adding 10 new operations to their network and their president, Johan Berg, who is also Boss Media’s chief executive officer, has said that they have succeeded by linking up these 10 new concerns during the beginning of the year, in demonstrating that their company can offer poker on a highly competitive basis. Zest Gaming’s CEO Roberto Cian, has said that his company is pleased that they are now able to offer Boss Media content on the hardware platform of the company. He also describes their hardware platform as being among those that are most ahead of the others within the existing present market. This means that combining their resources with Boss Media's superior game content and graphics, they have put together a particularly competitive offer of poker services to the online public.
The Italian state has allowed a total of ten concessions to be given to gaming operators. Collectively they are now holding about 170 thousand total gaming machines.
Henrik Sandin is the manager of Boss Media’s IVT division and he is reported as saying that their company is happy to combine their resources with Zest Gaming. He says that the results are that their company can strengthen its knowledge and understanding of one of the largest European markets. He also is bearing in mind how beneficial the arrangement will be to the IVT division when the upcoming virtual lottery terminal law is fully in effect since then the company will already have a head start when it comes to completely understanding just what Italian players are seeking in online poker. The deal with Italian Zest requires that Boss Media furnish the company with three games that will be used by the domestic market. All together eight additional Hellenic customers will be added to the list of Boss-linked operators. These include: Mr Poker, BetClick, Fortuno, Magic Number, Maharaja Club, Euro Telegroup, Fun Time Bingo, and Hellenic Poker.
