With the announcement that it has entered into a strategic coalition with Viking Productions, Diamond I Inc, a Jamaica-based marketing and promotions firm, the Wireless gambling developer has extended its focal point on Vegas on-property remote gambling to the Caribbean, to bring to venues within the Jamaican hotel and tourism industries, WifiCasino GS.
Diamond I's CEO, David Loflin said that his company was pleased about having formed a business relationship with Viking. He said that Diamond I believes that their video gaming products, will have great appeal on the Island, including their wireless, hand-held WifiCasino GS.
For on-premises use by casinos/resorts, Diamond I has carried out extensive improvement on a hand-held Wi-Fi-based gaming system capitalizing on the more advanced attitude in relation to this form of gambling that is being displayed by current Nevada legislators.
Diamond I seeks to lock up a Las Vegas hotel/casino to function as the demonstration site for its WifiCasino GS, now with the passage of Nevada Law AB471, a bill which authorizes the use of mobile communication devices for gaming in public areas in Nevada casinos. This is also in concurrence with its application for a gaming license in Nevada.
Relating to Diamond I's WifiCasino GS and, the Palms Resort and Casino has decided to carry on to develop a working relationship assuming Diamond I continues to meet definite standards. The Palms confirmed that it intends to follow an opportunity with Diamond I. The company has also had preliminary discussions with dog and horse racing facilities outside the United States and owners of cruise ships, and horse racing facilities within the United States.
