New World Series of Poker Video Game Makes Its Debut This Week
Activision Publishing, Inc. will be building on the success of 2005's top-selling World Series of Poker video game, when it demonstrates its all-new title, World Series of Poker, at the E3 Expo this week: Tournament of Champions.
High-stakes poker action is taken to new heights by this game since it has twice as many top pros, as well as access to wide-ranging poker tools that are designed to help players to improve their game, combined with DigiMask Technology that in reality maps a player's face right directly into the game.
The brand new video game, World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions features an all compelling storyline that casts those who are playing the game, as a newly arrived poker pro creating a career under the guidance of Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, while learning tips and strategies directly from one of the world's leading poker pros.
By competing against top pros in the premiere Circuit Events, Gamers are able to advance their career with the hope of qualifying for the invitation-only, winner-take-all, Tournament of Champions, which is held in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Rio Resort Hotel and Casino. For the Xbox 360, as well as other platforms, the game will be on the market this fall.
Commissioner of the World Series of Poker and vice president of Sports & Entertainment Marketing for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., Jeffrey Pollack, says that this is the most genuine and realistic World Series of Poker video game to yet hit the shelves.
