Betfair Possibly Eyeing U.S. Online Gambling Market
This week, Industry observers were explaining Betfair director comments as a probable indication that the U.S.A. very well might be on the list of targets for expansion for the dynamic and unrelenting betting exchange group.
Christian Hellmers, Betfair’s director of business development, is reported as saying that by 2008, his online gambling group could make available as much as $50 million in revenue for the US in new shared revenues for itself, racetracks and horsemen if it is allowed to function in the country.
Hellmers explained that his gambling group could without doubt increase the present $134 million annual wagering market in the US, while gross revenue could be expected to hit as high as $30 million by 2007 and by 2008, $50 million.
