888 Online Casino Gambling Group Gets New Coo
A highly experienced communications industry executive will inhabit the Chief Operations Officer hot seat at 888 Online Casino Gambling Group starting from June of this year.
Gigi Levy has been appointed by the Board at 888/Cassava to the top post which becomes effective from 18th June 2006. Previously, Levy held management positions at Amdocs, the software and services company, where he ultimately became president of the Central and Latin America and Western Europe Business Units. Amdocs is a provider of software and other services to the world's largest companies in the satellite, communications, broadband cable industries.
Unless CEO John Anderson intervenes in a most important dispute with affiliates which at present is creating an uproar around that sector of the industry, that hot seat will be uncommonly warm by the time he assumes it.
Affiliates are alleging that in order to create business for the online gambling giant, which owns the 888.com and Pacific Poker brands, 888.com affiliates are utilizing underhand and unethical devices such as site-scraping and blog spamming.
