South American country is being introduced to Internet gambling by a Swedish company

Betsson, the gambling company which is based in Sweden and is connected to Net Entertainment, the Internet gaming software developer, has formally joined the freer Internet gambling market in Peru, according to Living in Peru ex–pat news media.

This colossus from Europe has more than nine hundred thousand customers and continues to expand strategically throughout the globe, and has elected Peru as its latest market, making an offer of a vast spectrum of best Internet gaming features and games in an environment which is both secure and user friendly.

According to Living in Peru, Betsson in the single firm of its type in any country in South America, which offers full Internet gambling games such as sports betting, scratch cards, online casino and online poker.

Internet gaming sales exceeded fifteen billion dollars per annum, according to Global Betting and Gaming Consultants (GBGC).     

According to the general manager of Betsson, Thomas Kalita, Peru was decided upon after examining a number of South American markets. The deciding points were the amazing expansion of the amount of residences connecting to the Internet and the proportional large number of people accessing the Internet together with the development of gaming culture and the company’s partners’ capacity.

According to Kalita, the decision was also affected after the company had made a comparison with the expansion of Peru’s economy and infrastructure during the last years as well as additional countries in the area.

A more divers and more honest game is what Peru deserves, he adds. A five sol wager can be put on Betsson, if someone assumes that during the weekend La U is going to win the Classico.

By regulating a once outlawed Internet gambling sphere, the government can succeed again in taking control over the country’s gambling industry, says Manuel San Roman, the director of the Peruvian General Office of Casino Games and Slot Machines.
