In order To Improve Its Business, iSports Stands Operates As A Standalone Sportsbook

Along with St. Maarten, iSports Stand will shortly be introduced to Dutch Caribbean casinos.
Providing services identical with casino sports book, ISI Maritime/Islands (ISI) latest sports betting kiosks operate just like a stand-alone sports book.  Included in the kiosk services is the placing of sports bets, at any time on a 24 hour basis. iSports Stands, twelve of them, had been opened on the premises of five Curacao and Aruba casinos just prior to this announcement.

Among the first to offer the sleek iSports Stand kiosks are the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. They started to receive bets on February 3rd. This was just in time to take advantage of Super Bowl XLI.

Stellaris Casino’s general manager, Brian Stedeford, said that his company was pleased to offer their guests a convenient and simple way for placing sports bet. He says that the iSports Stands were a fantastic hit with their customers during the recent Super Bowl weekend. The opportunity to take advantage of sports betting before and even during the game, brought fans to the Stellaris and kept them there. This acted to improve the company’s interests in other areas such as their restaurants, lounges and other casino games.

Casino Awasa in Curacao, was one of the first to make the iSports Stand available in the local Otrobanda hotel.

the hotel’s manager, Martin Eustatia, reports a significant increase in hotel business stemming from them having the iSports Stand on their premises. He says that in the past when there was a request for sports betting, he always had to send that individual somewhere else to place  his or her bets. He is happy to announce that the Otrobanda is now able to offer such a service, and without having to remodel or even hire additional employees.

At the Hilton Curacao in the Curacao Casino, one may find iSports Stands already operating. According to the company they will soon be available at additional properties on the island. In the Westin Aruba Resort, the iSports Stands, which may be found at the Alhambra Casino and the Casablanca Casino, are expected to be completely operational just in time for the NCAA’s March Madness tournament. In the Dutch Caribbean, by the second quarter of 2007, ISI is preparing to place 12 iSports Stands into operation.
An ISI spokesperson compares these kiosks as being similar to using an ATM. Instead of dealing with a teller you are provided services through the machine. While placing bets, those using the iSports Stands can also check on the weather during sporting events, receive the advice of a professional sports handicapper, purchase tickets for shows and make golf reservations. Coming up next is access to horse racing.

Other services are provided through the same equipment such as a limo ride, a free beverage or a free handicapper selection of a football match.
