Flybe Joining Forces With Finnish Company With An Aim At Improving Its Client Services
As a part of its company strategy to improve additional company services, Flybe, the independent United Kingdom budget airline has taken a lesson from the example set by Ryanair, and is now providing customers with on-line gambling services.
Those who visit Flybe’s website will now be able to play games like roulette and poker over the site. The new service will be available this week and is being made available through a partnership with PAF Group, the Finnish gaming provider. In connection with their agreement it has been decided that PAF provides the gaming license along with website access to the online games. The daily business of running the undertaking is to be done by PAF.
Flybe’s marketing director, Simon Lilley, says that this new service is just one example of the ongoing effort being made by Flybe to improve service to their customer base through the employment of third party innovative partnerships.
Lilley says that his company is confident that their customers are going to enjoy this new offering as well as benefit from it by now having access through means of the website, to e-gaming entertainment. They expect that other airlines will soon come up with similar offerings.
The introduction of this new service of e-gaming represents only near part of an overall strategy of developing several new services and products all under the Flybe brand with the intent of stimulating to acquisition of increased profits. For example, it was only last month that Flybe inaugurated Flybe Cruise. Flybe Cruise offers Flybe customers the opportunity to enjoy cruises on cruise ships such as Oriana and the QE2. Another recent addition is a flower delivery service. Another new service that is under consideration is one that would deliver duty free products to company passengers after they have returned to their homes.
This move on the part of Flybe is similar in form to a dal that was carried out last year by its rival Ryanair when Ryanair joined forces with Jackpotjoy.com, the UK bingo website. The two set up their own online gaming site under the Ryanair name.
