ATE, PokerStars and Ladbrokes All Announce New Executive Boards

The Major Online Gambling Operations Have Been Bringing Out New Faces This Week. Examples being the three leading sites, Ladbrokes, ATE-Clarion and PokerStars, all making known the arrival of new faces in their executive suites.

Charlotte Skinner of Clarion ATE has been appointed as the company’s new Marketing Manager. She will be responsible for the London Shows ICEi, ATEI and ICE. Ms Skinner is 28 years old. She is a Business & Marketing graduate, having received a Postgraduate degree in Marketing, and brings with her much experience, both as an industry event organizer and also as one who as worked in marketing for such leading concerns as Churchill Insurance, the Royal Automobile Club (RAC), and in recent years, the British Ministry of Defence (MoD).

On the one hand, she will be involved with the London shows, but on the other hand,  she will be working with other areas of Clarion ATE’s b2b interests as well, including the revamped AMUSE 2008, and The Betting Show.

At the same time, Ladbrokes, the leading betting group announced on Monday that it had assigned Brian Wallace as its group finance director. Wallace is being placed in his position as Rosemary Thorne will be leaving the firm this coming month to go after other challenges.

Wallace is Hilton Group’s former deputy chief executive and group finance director. He will be joining Ladbrokes as the group’s finance director, and his duties are to begin immediately, according to a recent company announcement.

PokerStars.com has attend the expert services of former Ongame/Safeplay Ltd. specialist Edward Ihre, who joins this expanding international poker site. He will serve at PokerStars as its new Director of Partners and Affiliates. It will be his job to identify and build up innovative growth opportunities.

Ihre was reported as saying that he is looking forward to this move to PokerStars.com, and the is excited about working for such a forward looking and well respected company.
