Playtech plc includes four Italian online gaming operations in the launching of their real play for money action on their Italian poker network
Playtech plc, the London-listed software provider, following some months of Italian "play-for-fun" poker operations, has announced the successful commencement of a "play for real money" poker network in the speedily growing Italian online poker market.
The Italian online Internet operators Snai s.r.l., Sisal SpA, Gala Coral's Eurobet Italia SpA and Cogetech SpA, are now offering "play for real money" products on Playtech's Italian poker network, following license agreements that were announced earlier in the second half of this year with all leading online operators.
The company announced in its statement that in order to make certain that all end users are at all times experiencing a fully compliant poker solution, Playtec plc. has entered the regulated Italian poker market. As it stands today, both Playtech and its licensees are fully committed to meeting and fulfilling all of the Italian regulatory standards.
A company spokesman reports that the Playtech Italian poker network has been designed to appeal to the tastes of Italian players, those players who are seeking a strong P2P community combined with high player liquidity. The product employs Playtech's fully attested back office system with the proper customization to fit into the local market, a system that has been completely integrated into the licensees' systems so as to assure a complete and unflawed gaming experience for each individual player.
Playtech chief executive officer, Mor Weizer, says that the company is extremely satisfied with the launching of their Italian poker network. Mr. Wizer says that Playtech is completely committed to spreading out its global reach specifically within regulated markets across the world while continuing to cooperate with the local gaming regulators in order to bring to the market a fully compliant product. Gala Coral's Eurobet Italia SpA , Sisal SpA and Cogetech SpA and the leading Italian operators Snai s.r.l were included in the recent launch so as to establish a foothold for the company in the Italian market. A move that will further lead to a prominent position in that market. Weizer adds that the launching of the play for real money network in the Italian market also testifies to the company's already established extensive experience with regard to penetrating new regulated markets while employing their best of breed software platform.
