Article Announces Possible Move of Real Time Gaming Operations to Costa Rica

Although the report has not yet been substantiated, one source is claiming, a source that is said to be unhappy but is also said to be well acquainted with the company, that Real Time Gaming is on the verge of shutting down its operations in Atlanta and cutting back on staff in order to make a move to Costa Rico. Although this is certainly possible, no confirmation has yet appeared. The report follows:

Recently the management of Real Time Gaming called a meeting in Atlanta including their entire staff to announce that their Atlanta office would soon be closing. This news came from a source that is known to be close the software provider to online casinos. The understanding was that most of their employees would be kept or that they would be relocated to the new operation in Costa Rico.

The company Real Time Gaming can track its roots back to the very beginnings of the egaming experience, and has been a leading supplier of software to online casinos since 1988. During the years between 2000 and 2003 they possibly were among the top suppliers of online software to online casinos. Over this period however, it has not always gone well. Bodog Casino is listed nevertheless as their number one customer. From the year 2004 and afterwards, things started to go on the decline. During this period, a number of their licensees have gone under and some other of their more profitable clients took their business elsewhere.

It has also been known that those in control of Real Time Gaming have been looking to sell the company in recent times and that the company has gone over at least one due diligence carried out for a possible buyer, one who is presently a figure in the software gaming industry. This transaction however, never occurred.

At the present time the Real Time Gaming website has removed all company information as well as its list of clients in apparent preparation for its move to the new Costa Rico based address.
