How to Play Roulette
Roulette Playing Rules
The aim in roulette is to forecast the destination of the
spinning ball, namely to decide upon which number or color
the moving ball will eventually land. The player wins his
wager by betting on the correct destined number (s) or color.
The odds decrease in proportion to the destined amount of
numbers selected, and in comparison the greater the probability
the winnings will increase.
The roulette wheel comprises thirty eight numbers alternating
between odd and even and the colors black and red. The roulette
numbers comprise two 00, 0 and 1 to 36. The two zero numbers
are in green and are located at the wheel’s extremities.
The dealer spins the wheel in one specific direction, but
before doing so has to announce that he cannot take any more
bets. The ball is now rolled in the reverse direction to the
wheel’s spin. When the wheel stops and the ball drops
into a final slot the winnings are calculated according the
placed bets.
Two Types of Roulette Bets
Inside Bets
The first type of roulette bet is called Inside Bets and contains
six sub-types of bets.
Outside Bets
The second type of roulette bet is called Outside Bets and
contains three sub-types of bets.
Any number of types of bets can be placed at each spin and
the amount of bets is unlimited.
Details of Inside Bets
1. The Straight Bet: A winning number pays you 35 to 1. Simply
place a chip on any number and wait for the ball to fall on
it.
2. 2 Number Bet or Split Bet: A win awards you a 17 to 1 payout.
Simply place a chip on the line between numbers and wait for
the ball to fall on either number.
3. 3 Number Bet or Street Bet: This is a 11 to 1 payout. Here
you place a chip outside the row you’re wagering on.
Any of the three numbers is a winner.
4. Corner Bet: An 8 to 1 payout on winning. Select four numbers
and simply put the chip in the middle of them – any
of these numbers is a winner.
5. 5 Bet: 6 to 1 bet: Put your chip on the diving line between
0 and 1. Here you have the numbers 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3 and
wait for a win on any of these.
6. 6-Line Bet: 6 to 1 bet: A winner can be any of the six
numbers selected on two rows of three numbers. Simply put
a chip on the border line of the two rows’ last numbers.
Details of Outside Bets
1. Any Number or High Number Bet: This is a 1 to 1 bet. Put
a chip on a 1 to 18 spot, or on a 19 to 36 spot. If the ball
drops on any of these runs you win. Note that 0 or 00 is a
loss.
2. Even or Odds: This is a 1 to 1 bet. Select an even or odd
number and put a chip on either. 0 and 00 are not included
and are counted as a loss.
3. Black or Red: This is a 1 to 1 bet. Select a red or black
spot and put a chip on it.

the second series of 12, namely, 13 to 24, and the last series
25 to 36. You play here by putting your chip any of these
